Kindred Campfire
Kindred was founded by Anna Anderson, who wanted to create a physical space where people could meaningfully connect in a world that feels increasingly isolated and divided. Driven by a lifelong fascination with what it takes to build real community, Anna has made Kindred a living experiment in connection.
Over time, she’s become curious about the bigger picture: why, throughout history, we’ve worked hard to break free from oppressive forms of community, embraced individualism, and yet now find ourselves lonelier than ever.
Through her work at Kindred, Anna has met an extraordinary network of people; entrepreneurs, creatives, academics, and leaders, who are all exploring the deeper layers of what community truly means. Together, they’re moving past the buzzwords and into the heart of the matter.
This podcast series is part of that journey. If you’re listening, chances are you’re curious too. Across the series, Anna speaks with guests about friendship and loneliness, the role of social media, the design of our cities, the future of business, the power of music and food… and even the darker sides of community life.
